Lion Air is an Indonesian low cost airline with its base in Jakarta. The airline is the largest airline in Indonesia and the second largest budget carrier in Southeast Asia. Lion Air mostly offers domestic connections, even if they also offer some flights to other parts of Asia. Lion Air has three hubs – Soekarno–Hatta International Airport, Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport and Juanda International Airport.

On the other hand, a focus city is a destination where the airline operates limited point-to-point routes.
